Philly Student Anti-Nuclear Art Expo
Philly Student Anti-Nuclear Art Expo (PSANAE) was developed in 2008
with the mission to promote awareness among Philadelphia's vast
population of college-age artists. Through effective campaigns that
pointedly promotes hope over fear, PSANAE works to highlight the
artists' important role in society as thinkers, creators, and leaders.
Project for Nuclear Awareness
Founded in March, 2006, Project for Nuclear Awareness (PNA) educates
the public about the dangers of nuclear weapons, and the need for
nuclear disarmament and nuclear non-proliferation. PNA uses the
strength of growing public opinion against nuclear and mass destruction
weapons to educate Washington representatives as well. Various media is
used to accomplish the PNA mission -- e.g., books, lectures,
discussions, conferences, Web site interaction, pod-casting,
letter-writing, a petition campaign, and visits to Capitol Hill or to
district offices of U.S. Senators and Representatives.
